Why do you love to skate? Skating is freedom. No coach telling me when and what to do. Being free to be my own person. Bringing my own personality to roll. It's a full-body expression with rolling. Nothin-like gliding over the concrete as if I were floating. Freedom.
What keeps you pushing forward in skating? The motivation for me is the new generation. So many kids, teens, and adults getting into the sport whether it be a park, jam, derby, or just the folks that want to learn to just roll around their neighborhood.
What was your greatest success? I guess you'll have to stay tuned to find out...
What is your favorite place to skate? Barcelona is by far my favorite place to skate. Did I hear someone say, "CHAYA TEAM TOUR" hahaha
What is your favorite trick? Any toe stops variation. I've come to find the name, "Cliffhanger" to be a great way of translating the Toe Stop Stall. Do you agree?
What advice would you like to give? Just have fun.
Any hobbies outside of skating? I own a shoe customization business where I turn your boring shoes into a wearable art piece. Follow my art page at, @art_by_tre on Instagram.
What is your favorite moment in skating? When your friend has been trying a trick for a long time and finally LANDS IT. The excitement is the best feeling for everyone.
