Why do you love to skate? I love to skate because it is such a Freeing experience. I used to skate with my father as a kid and it has stuck with me my whole life. To me, skating is its own emotion like happiness or sadness. That emotion that is skating is the most peaceful and uplifting one I have experienced in my life. I cant get enough so I guess i’m addicted.

What keeps you pushing forward in skating? The physical challenge.

What was your greatest success? Jamming for Arch Rival All Stars. AWWOOOOOO!!

What is your favorite competition? Rollercon! I love seeing all my friends from all over.

What is your favorite move/trick?  My favorite move is probably an apex jump. Nothing feels better than landing an apex jump on the other side of the four blockers you were about to come up against.

What advice would you like to give? Food is very important. Always eat. Check your gear at least two times before you leave for a tournament.

Any hobbies outside of skating? Hiking and skateboarding. I spend a lot of time out with my dog. Ice Cream…. I enjoy eating Ice cream.

What is your favorite moment in skating? My favorite skating moment would have to be skating with Black Diaspora in Portland against GnR in 2022.

Tell us about your personal philosophy, phrase, ethic, and/or value as a skater! Yes you can write a book…😊

“There’s no fear if you are having fun”

Skating is at its core…FUN. When having fun, the feelings of fear and doubt have a harder time creeping in and messing things up. If I get anxious before an event, I can usually calm those feelings by taking a couple laps with my headphones on and jam skating it out.

ALWAYS HAVE FUN!
