Richard Maxwell

Richard started skating in 2014 and, ever since, inline skating has become his way of exploring the world and constantly pushing his own limits. Born in Belgium and now living in Elche (Alicante, Spain), he has developed a unique style that blends freestyle, wizard skating, slides, and big jumps, always looking for new ways to reinterpret the urban environment. For him, skates are much more than a sport or a means of transportation—they are a tool for self-expression, where imagination is the only limit.

Throughout his skating journey, Richard has competed in a wide range of disciplines, including speed skating, downhill, skatepark, pumptrack, rollercross, high jump, and slides, with sliding competitions being where his passion for competing first began. He enjoys exploring almost every discipline within inline skating, believing that each one offers a different way to express yourself. He has earned second-place finishes in both slide and high jump competitions, and loves experimenting with different setups to challenge his creativity, turning any staircase, wall, or corner of the city into an opportunity to create something new.

Beyond competition, Richard enjoys sharing his passion with other skaters. Over the years, he has coached at several skating clubs, led masterclasses, taken part in events, and helped skaters of all levels improve their skills and confidence. Always smiling and eager to keep learning, his goal remains the same: to inspire more people to discover how far they can go on skates, because for Richard, imagination is the only limit.
