Why do you love to skate? I feel free during skating. I love the speed with which I rush through the city and new meetings with amazing people.
What keeps you pushing forward in skating? I want to achieve more success in sports, this motivates me to continue training. I constantly set myself goals that I try to achieve. I am also inspired by some people from the world of slalom. All this helps me to fight to the end and enjoy my favorite sport
What was your greatest success? For me is the title of two times champion of Russia (2020) in freestyle slalom classic and battle.
What is your favorite place to skate? I like to train in the fresh air, it can be a park. In the evenings I can skate along the embankment and enjoy the evening city.
What is your favorite trick? My favorite tricks from freestyle slalom are back chicken on heel or toe, I really love the rotational elements.
What advice would you like to give? Never give up and fight to the end. Skating should spread joy, not disappointment in failures. Even if you can't do something, don't worry. Motivate yourself by visualizing the end result. For the best result improve yourself, watch videos and take part in masterclasses. But the main thing is to believe in yourself, and you will succeed
Any hobbies outside of skating? I love to travel and discover new cities, countries, and architecture. I like to draw in my spare time.
What is your favorite moment in skating? For me, this is competition. There I get adrenaline, great pleasure, and positive emotions, I enjoy every moment
Tell us about your personal philosophy, phrase, ethic, and/or value as a skater! Yes, you can write a book…?
My favorite 3 phrases that motivate me: Failure and rejection are only the first steps to succeeding. When you think it’s too late, the truth is, it’s still early. Most powerful is he who has himself in his own power.
